Exploring Mindfulness Meditation Workshop
[with 60 Minute Guided Hike]
In this guided 60 minute mindfulness practice primarily alternating between sitting and walking practices, we will experience the present moment in the beauty of nature. You will have a chance to experience mindfulness practices using the sights, sounds, sensations and smells of nature. As the Buddha taught mediation can be done standing, sitting, lying down and walking, we will take this opportunity to explore. Wear loose, comfy clothing and bring something your can fold up to sit on if needed (a towel, sweater).

9:30AM - 10:15AM: Open amphitheater mindfulness practice led by Bonnie
10:15AM - 10:30AM: Group discussion on mindfulness meditation
10:30AM - 11:00AM: Guided mindfulness hike through the old growth forest
11:00AM - 11:30AM: Guided hike back to checkin location

From the Trans-Canada Highway turn west on to Trunk Road toward St Julian Street which turns into Government Road. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Gibbins Road. Driveway for destination will be on the left.
Meet and check-in at the Remedy Flag in the driveway/parking lot.
